Terms and conditions – Weardale Oil Co-operative

Weardale Oil Co-operative’s purpose is to purchase home heating oil for delivery to its members, using our best efforts to obtain a preferential, group purchasing price, on the day of fixing.
Weardale Oil Co-operative is a volunteer run, not-for-profit organisation.
Weardale Oil Co-operative acts as an intermediary only. No contracts exist between members and the buying group.
Orders must be placed via the online forms provided. No orders will be accepted via email or phone.
All orders placed are submitted to the chosen supplier, and members will be invoiced individually for their own oil order. Members will be liable to the chosen supplier for payment of their invoices.
Unless there are exceptional circumstances to be taken into account, members failing to pay the suppliers’ invoice on time, will no longer be members of the Co-operative, and will not be supplied in future.
Weardale Oil Co-operative operates a zero tolerance policy in respect of written, verbal and physical abuse. Any members engaging in such behaviour, will have their membership cancelled summarily.
